The Pure Blue Japan XX series uses a 14oz Japanese selvedge denim. The small scale production method is done on low tension shuttle looms. This denim features a slubby and hairy texture common to Pure Blue Japan's denim.
The jeans are made with all the superior-quality Pure blue Japan details such as iron buttons, high-quality pocket bags, heavy-duty bar tacks, long stitching, a custom lambskin leather patch and the signature Pure Blue Japan "shoai" embroidery (Indigofera leaf).
The Pure Blue Japan 003 cut is a modern take on a regular straight fit with a soft taper. It’s an unsanforized loomstate fabric. This keeps the incredible texture in tact.

- These jeans are made of unsanforized fabric, we recommend to size up one or two sizes from your normal waist to accommodate for material shrinkage post-soak. Expect 1-1.5 inches of shrinkage post soak.
